Upon the invitation of Bishop Frederick Rooker of Jaro to open a school in Dumaguete the of St. Paul of Chartres arrived in the Philippines in 1904.
Presently the Congregation is now serving in 38 schools all over the Philippines aside from hospitals and pastoral communities.

On July 7, 1970, Sr. Miriam Raymond Victoriano, SPC, first principal of St. Paul
College, Pasig put up a small building to house the nursery and kindergarten. Because of the growing needs and clientele of the Paulinian apostolate, St. Paul College, Pasig was opened as one of the educational institutions administered by the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres.

Since then, the institution has undertaken big leaps from its humble beginnings.
By 2006 the GIFT (Giftedness Instruction For Talent) Development Program which is supported by the Cultural Arts Program (CAP) was initiated in response to the call for equity in the development of man’s talent. This program is anchored on the premise that bringing out the giftedness in every individual heightens self-confidence and self-esteem. Self-confidence that emanates from integral formation begets good citizens, which is what our country needs.

One of the country’s most comprehensive talent development programs integrated in basic education, GIFT features 32 specialized courses in five (5) talent learning centers. An intensification of the student activity programs of the school, it provides varied opportunities and more meaningful learning experiences for students to hone their talents and skills through well-directed course modules designed and implemented by experts.

Under the Center for Fine Arts, one of them is Fashion Design.
